Anthony F. Godshall was born, raised, and educated in the Philadelphia area. After completing high school at a combination of Upper Moreland and William Tennent, he attended Temple University, where he studied early to mid-20th-century American History. Anthony graduated and entered the workforce as a claims specialist, but after a few years, he realized he would only feel fulfilled if he could help others. Anthony then attended and graduated from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, where he completed numerous criminal law courses, which included practical work with various state and federal criminal law agencies, he received a certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation, and was appointed a Fellow of the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society. In addition to his education, Anthony is also a proud graduate of the National Criminal Defense College.
Anthony grew up in a working-class home and had his first job when he was 13 years old. As a worker, Anthony understands the difficulties a criminal case can have on someone's life, especially during the job hunt. The ability to pay should never be the deciding factor when it is someone's life and well-being are on the line. One of Anthony’s goals is to ensure that all working-class people are afforded high-quality representation during one of the most difficult moments in their lives.
