Armando Hernandez was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He is a Miami criminal defense attorney who concentrates his legal practice in the area of criminal defense. He received his B.A. from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he graduated with Honors. He holds an ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) License and all flight instructor ratings. He was on the Dean's list and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law. He was a member of the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review. A fluent Spanish speaker, Mr. Hernandez represents individuals in and around Miami, as well as throughout the rest of Florida.
Mr. Hernandez has established a prominently successful and reputable private practice. Prior to entering private practice, Armando Hernandez was an Assistant State Attorney in which he handled thousands of cases ranging from Driving Under the Influence (DUI) to Murder. Mr. Hernandez successfully concluded his career at the Miami Dade State Attorney's Office as the prosecutor assigned to anchor one of the two Repeat Offender Courts (ROC). His case load consisted of Life and first-degree felony cases of defendants who qualified as Violent Career Criminals, Habitual Violent Felony Offenders and Prison Releasee Reoffenders. Mr. Hernandez uses that former prosecutor experience to protect your constitutional rights. He is also a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
