Brandi Jones was raised in rural East Tennessee and obtained a Bachelors in English from Lincoln Memorial University. She also has a Masters in English from Tennessee Technological University, where she graduated with the highest academic honors, while teaching freshman English classes. In 2011, Brandi received her Juris Doctorate from the Nashville School of Law and was admitted to the Tennessee bar.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Brandi also worked as a Claims Examiner for the State of Tennessee. She worked full time as a Center Director at Sylvan Learning Center of the Cumberlands while attending law school and has over a decade of experience in education. She is currently adjunct professor of law at Austin Peay State University, teaching Family Law, Juvenile Law, and Civil Procedure, and adjunct professor of English through the Regents Online Degree Program through the state of Tennessee.
Upon graduating law school, Brandi worked as a solo practitioner and as an associate attorney for firms in Clarksville and Springfield before co-founding Jones, Green, & Tackett Law, PLLC, where she now practices in a variety of areas. With her education background, Brandi finds it especially important to help clients understand the legal process and strives to guide them every step of the way. Brandi loves spending time with her children and participating in many local events and activities in Clarksville.
