Brian Barr is an associate with the law firm of Levin, Papantonio. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Baylor University in 1996. He graduated magna cum laude from The Florida State University College of Law in 2001, seventh in his class. During law school, Mr. Barr was a member of The Florida State University Law Review, a member of the honorary fraternity Phi Delta Phi and was initiated as a member into The Order of the Coif. Mr. Barr made the Dean's List each semester of law school and received book awards for the highest grade in six of his classes including: Products Liability, Legal Writing and Research, Gratuitous Transfers, Health Care Law & Policy, and Conflicts of Law. In addition, he was named in the Nineteenth, Twentieth and Twenty-First Editions of Who's Who: American Law Students and published the article, Engle v. R.J. Reynolds: The Improper Assessment of Punitive Damages for an Entire Class of Injured Smokers, 28 Fla. St. U. L. Rev. 787 (2001). Mr. Barr joined the law firm of Levin, Papantonio in 2001. He is currently licensed to practice law before all Florida state courts and limits his practice to personal injury, class actions and mass tort litigation.
