Brian E. Bigelow is a native of Morgantown, but has made southern West Virginia his home for over 20 years. He attended West Virginia University where he was Student Body President and also a member of the drumline with the "Pride of West Virginia" (The Mountaineer Marching Band). He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1995 and later graduated from the WVU College of Law in 1998. He married his wife, Melissa (a Fayette County native), in 1996 and began working for an insurance defense firm in Beckley in 1998. He worked for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company exclusively defending Nationwide, Nationwide Agribusiness, Allied, Scottsdale and Titan insureds from 2001 to 2009. He joined Farmer, Cline & Campbell in 2009 and since that time has represented West Virginians who have been seriously injured by other people's poor choices.
Mr. Bigelow manages the day-to-day operations of the Beckley office of Farmer, Cline & Campbell. Over the course of his career, he has handled thousands of personal injury claims. His practice includes commercial truck crashes, motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries (resulting from violations of safety standards and regulations), electrocution injuries and insurance disputes.
Mr. Bigelow is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. He has a Class A Commercial Driver's License which authorizes him to operate large trucks, including tractor-trailers.
Mr. Bigelow and his wife have five children.
