Brian moved to Tampa when he was two years old and has considered Tampa his home ever since. Brian’s sole ambition in entering the legal profession was to always help those less fortunate. Brian achieved the Florida State University School of Law’s Pro Bono service award.
Brian’s first job out of law school was as an assistant Public Defender, where he represented impoverished individuals charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanor to first degree felonies. The Public Defender’s Office has limited resources, but Brian had numerous trials and zealously held the Prosecution to its burden of proving that his clients were guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Brian started a family while working at the Public Defender’s office, so he took positions in the private sector working for some of the largest Insurance Defense firm’s in the state of Florida. Although successful doing defense work, Brian knew he always wanted to get back to representing individuals. Representing individuals purely on a contingency fee basis, earning his pay and the client’s trust. So, Brian began representing Plaintiff’s and took positions at some of the largest Plaintiff’s firms in the Tampa area. He was extremely happy representing individuals again, but felt that working at the larger Plaintiff’s firms did not give him enough access to clients on a personal level.
In 2016, and with a desire to have a more in depth client focused practice, Brian started Giddings Law, P.A. Giddings Law, P.A. quickly achieved well over 7 figures in compensation for its clients in less than 9 months of being open. Giddings Law, P.A. continually prospered achieving tremendous results for its clients. Brian quickly achieved membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, earned the Top Forty under 40 distiction and was nominated for Super Lawyers in 2018 and 2019.
In 2020, Brian was fortunate to open a partnership with his close friend Ben and started Giddings Crawford, PLLC. Giddings Crawford, PLLC will always be a client/ result focused law firm wherein the clients will have 24-hour access to an attorney.
Brian lives in Tampa and has two beautiful children, Isabel Giddings (1/5/2009 – 02/28/20) and Joseph, “JoJo” Giddings.
