For Brian, it is a privilege to help those that have been thrust into difficult situations. Brian’s journey to becoming a lawyer began while he was a journalism student in college. A natural storyteller and persuasive public speaker, Brian knew instantly that he could not share stories from individuals about their most traumatic moments without playing a more integral role in the problem-solving process. With this discovery, Brian’s focus shifted to law.
Brian began his legal career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Suzanne Chanti in Lane County, Oregon where he observed the struggles of individuals trying to navigate the legal system without supportive legal counsel. Understanding the future ramifications this had on individuals, Brian eagerly strives to help individuals resolve their matters through purposeful advocacy and creative problem-solving strategies.
As a former prosecutor, Brian honed his litigation and negotiation skills by prosecuting felony domestic violence and DUII cases. Because of this experience, Brian is comfortable resolving cases in and outside of the courtroom. Favorable outcomes are achieved through preparation and teamwork, and Brian enjoys meeting with clients, thoughtfully listening to their experiences, and crafting successful strategies for their individual cases.
When not in the office, you can find Brian playing piano and guitar, reading a good book, playing golf, and enjoying a good glass of Oregon pinot noir with his wife.
