Brody is a Partner at Peters Law Firm P.C and has recently been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiffs Attorney. He was born and raised in an agricultural family in Clarinda, Iowa, and now resides in Council Bluffs with his wife, Jordyn, and their two sons, Kendol and Lawson.
Brody attended Buena Vista University for his undergrad, where he graduated cum laude with a criminal justice degree. During his time there, he was accepted into the Criminal Justice Honor Society, Lambda Phi, and worked hand-in-hand with the Innocence Project of Iowa, a nonprofit organization that diligently works to exonerate those who have been wrongfully convicted. He then went on to Drake University Law School, where he practiced law as a Student-Attorney in Polk County, became the Editor-in-Chief of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, and became a published author.
Brody joined Peters Law Firm, P.C. in August 2017, immediately following his graduation from law school. His practice focuses primarily on helping individuals in a variety of civil matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, family law, and other litigation matters. Whether it is advocating for an individual who has been personally injured or lost a loved one or litigating on behalf of a parent in a custody or divorce matter, his first step is simple: it is to sit down with the client and listen. From that point on, he works collaboratively with his clients towards a solution that will either resolve itself through settlement or through trial, if necessary.
