Bryan Larson loves helping people, especially with a variety of legal problems. He has enjoyed a winding career through big law and private equity before joining his law school classmate Anthony at Bruster PLLC in 2018. Bryan brings to the firm a broad transactional and business background, and he helps manage the business of the firm while representing clients in a variety of matters.
After graduating from Baylor Law School in 2002 Bryan joined Bracewell & Patterson, LLP, focusing on real estate and banking transactions. After four years with Bracewell, he moved down the street to Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP, gaining significant experience representing special servicers in the CMBS market, handling foreclosures, receiverships, loan sales and restructuring. He then served as a Partner at Thompson & Knight LLP, with a law practice focused on buying, selling, financing, developing, and leasing commercial real estate.
After almost 10 years in big law, Bryan joined a real estate private equity firm in Dallas as Partner & General Counsel, buying office buildings and other real estate assets across the southern half of the United States. After a successful chapter there, Bryan joined Anthony at Bruster PLLC in 2018, seeking to help build a law firm that would seek justice for those who lack it, and to Practice Law with a Higher Purpose.
Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, Bryan came south to teach waterskiing in the summers while completing an undergraduate degree in Canada in secondary mathematics education. With his newfound love of Texas, Bryan started at Baylor Law School in 1999, married Eraina, and later naturalized as a US citizen in 2013. Bryan and Eraina are raising four children – three daughters and a son – and reside in Dallas, Texas. Bryan has served on the Board of Directors of Orphan Outreach since 2016, and he and his family are members of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church. Bryan often rides a bike to the office, maintains a regular waterski group on Lake Lewisville, and enjoys almost all outdoor activities.
