Chad R. Carlson began his legal career at Alder Law, a nationally recognized litigation firm, in Century City, CA. He associated under Michael Alder, the law firm’s founder, successfully litigating an employment discrimination suit to a $2,000,000 verdict less than a year after passing the Bar exam. During his time at Alder Law, Chad R. Carlson worked extensively on cases involving personal injury, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and elder abuse; on employment discrimination matters, such as wrongful termination and sexual abuse; and on civil rights cases, helping to secure multiple seven- and eight-figure results in favor of his clients.
Chad R. Carlson attended law school at Trinity International University School of Law on an academic scholarship. As a student, he received the CALI Award and the Witkin Award for scholar excellence for his work in torts law, property law, and jurisprudence. These prestigious awards are reserved for the highest scoring student in the course. Chad R. Carlson was also a school-sponsored tutor, where he designed unique study programs to help fellow students achieve academic success. Recognized as a Dean scholar, Chad R. Carlson finished law school with distinction, graduating summa cum laude.
Prior to attending law school and pursuing a legal career, Chad R. Carlson was a partner of a global wealth management team at Morgan Stanley with hundreds of millions of dollars of assets under management. The team managed pension funds for several large corporations, including Fortune 500 companies.
In 2006, Chad R. Carlson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University, where he majored in history. He is proficient in Tagalog and is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts throughout California.
