Chad was named one of the five winningest plaintiff attorneys in the state of Missouri for 2011 by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. In addition, he has been voted best of the bar by the Kansas City Business Journal, named a Super Lawyers or Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2009, 2011, 2013 2014, 2015 and 2016 and has been honored by the National Trial Lawyers Association as one of the top 40 trial lawyers under the age of 40 every year since 2012. Chad grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri before attending the University of Missouri, where he graduated cum laude with a business degree in 1998 and from law school in 2001. From 2001 to 2005, he worked at large firm in Kansas City representing defendants. While Chad learned from working under some of the best lawyers in the nation, he soon realized his passion was not representing large corporate defendants and insurance companies, but the people the who had been wronged by them. Since 2005, Chad has represented only plaintiffs in contingent fee cases.

Chad currently lives in Leawood, Kansas with his wife and three children.
