Chelsea E. Dickerson was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Ms. Dickerson started her legal career as a clerk during law school for the United States District Court of Nebraska, Federal Public Defender. During that time, she obtained significant experience in the research and drafting of motions and briefs in federal court and helping assist in the defense of individuals who had been accused of violations of federal law. Also while in law school, Ms. Dickerson's law review article was selected for publication. Since its publication, Ms. Dickerson's article has been cited in numerous law reviews, court briefs, an Indiana Court of Appeals decision, and The Encyclopedia of the 4th Amendment.
After obtaining her license to practice law, Ms. Dickerson started the Dickerson Oxton Law Firm in 2010 with her husband Thomas Dickerson. Since that time, she has been dedicated to the representation of injury victims. Ms. Dickerson has represented numerous individuals in car accidents, slip and falls, product liability, medical malpractice, nursing home, and dog bite cases. Ms. Dickerson handles cases all across Kansas and Missouri.
Most recently, in 2013, Ms. Dickerson assisted hundreds of clients nationwide against some of the largest medical device manufacturers in the world that sold and marketed defective transvaginal mesh products to thousands of female consumers. Ms. Dickerson also recently worked with Thomas Dickerson in obtaining settlement in a large insurance dispute case resulting in the payment of over 7 million dollars in insurance proceeds.
Ms. Dickerson is married to Thomas Dickerson, and they have one daughter. Ms. Dickerson enjoys watching Nebraska Cornhuskers football and spending time with her family.
