During law school, he held leadership roles as President of the American Association for Justice, Governor in The Florida Bar's Law Student Division, and Executive Board Member of the Hispanic American Law Student Association. He also clerked for the 9th Circuit's Complex Business Court and served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Office of the Attorney General’s Statewide Prosecutor's Office, where he worked on cases involving federal agencies including the DEA and the SEC.
