I am licensed to practice law in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, the federal Northern District of Texas, and the federal Eastern District of Texas. I have many years of experience working for different law firms that specialize in personal injury and commercial litigation. I am settling an average of 1.5 to 2 million dollars in total settlement monthly in my current role. During law school, I worked for multiple law firms in Houston, I served as an editor on the Real Estate & Construction Law Journal, I was elected President of my school’s Phi Alpha Delta chapter, and I competed in the advocacy program.Â
I have gained valuable legal experience, which has taught me how to adapt to new information, meet deadlines, and communicate complex ideas in an accessible manner. At my current position, I managed a docket of over 500 cases from initial intake to final disposition while assisting with other dockets. I directly manage four pre-lit teams of two to three people each and a settlement team of four people. I negotiate claim settlements and resolve lawsuits with insurance companies, including commercial carriers, while also being the first contact for several medical providers in three different states.Â
I have done two first chair trials in district court, and I have been second chair for almost a dozen trials in district, county, and JP courts. I have taken at least 50 lay and expert witness depositions and argued in over 100 hearings. I am a certified mediator through the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution, and I am an arbitrator for the Texas Comptroller’s Office. I have attended over almost 100 mediations and arbitrations. This is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I am willing to learn, put in the hours, and work with relentless enthusiasm.
