Christopher H. Sherwood graduated from Loyola University in 1987 earning a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. In 1993, Chris graduated from Loyola University with a Master of Business Administration. During business school, he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Societies. In 2001, Chris received his Law Degree from Loyola Law School and, he was admitted to the Louisiana Bar. While in law school, Chris received Law Excellence Awards in Injured Employee Remedies and Compensation Rights and Louisiana Probate. Chris also received the Leon Sarpy Award for outstanding performance in Louisiana Probate. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
Chris lives in New Orleans with his wife, Michel, and he has two children. Chris also participates in HELP, providing Notary Services to the homeless. He is a Fellow with the Louisiana Bar Foundation. Chris is also active in the community where he has served on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Speech and Hearing Center; the Board of Directors of Junior Associated Catholic Charities, where he was President; the Board of Trustees of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, where he was Chairman of the Technology Council; and the Loyola University Alumni Board of Directors. For his community service, Chris was selected Man of the Year for 1996 by the Metairie Jaycees.
