Christopher P. Weidman is an Associate and member of Stark & Stark's Accident & Personal Injury Group. Mr. Weidman focuses his practice on wrongful death, spinal cord injuries, and other catastrophic injury cases resulting from automobile crashes, products liability, and premise liability. In his work as a trial lawyer, he combines his knowledge and experience with his passion for helping others and protecting his clients' rights.
Mr. Weidman previously practiced at a personal injury firm in South Jersey, where he litigated and managed accident and personal injury cases. Prior to that he served as an intern working in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, where he represented the New Jersey Department of Education in matters involving school districts and their employees. He also interned in the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice in the Financial Crimes Bureau.
Mr. Weidman has lectured in the legal community and has spoken to fellow attorneys at seminars sponsored by the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) and National Business Institute (NBI). In 2016, Mr. Weidman was invited to present at the NJAJ Boardwalk Seminar as one of the NJAJ's Rising Stars. Mr. Weidman became a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 for New Jersey in 2017.
Mr. Weidman was born and raised in South Jersey and grew up in Gloucester County. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Finance and Minor in Business Law. Mr. Weidman received his law degree from the Rutgers Camden School of Law. During his time at Rutgers, he was a senior editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and a Certified Legal Intern in the Rutgers Civil Practice Clinic. He also served as President of the New Jersey Association for Justice, Rutgers Student Chapter and was a co-founder of the Rutgers 501(c)(3) Non Profit Formation Project. Mr. Weidman received the Dean's Publico Award for Exceptional Service in recognition of his extensive pro bono work in the Camden community. Mr. Weidman is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Weidman resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is on the Board of Directors of the Penn State Alumni Association, Philadelphia Chapter. His interests include golf, travel, and cheering on the Eagles and Sixers.
