Clayton Cain approaches each case with a mindset similar to one that earned him recognition as a collegiate All-American, on the baseball field and in the classroom. with Preparation, Persistence, and Production.
Clayton is a Lawrenceville native and believes in the power of community. Clayton is a member of the Gwinnett County Baseball Hall of Fame and earned All-American honors during his playing days at Valdosta State University. While earning his master’s degree in sports administration at Georgia State University, he served as a graduate assistant baseball coach and coached youth baseball.
The law first intrigued Clayton while he worked for an Atlanta sports agent and led him to Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. While attending Samford University Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, Clayton became involved in Cumberland’s renown trial program. Clayton likened the competitiveness of trial to athletics and realized that he wanted to be a trial lawyer. While clerking for Judge Tom King in Jefferson County, Alabama, Clayton observed numerous trials where personal injury attorneys passionately advocated for their clients and he knew that was his calling.
Cain obtained his law degree in 2015, then moved to Atlanta and worked for a well-known personal injury firm that specialized in catastrophic and wrongful death cases. He returned to Lawrenceville to establish Cain Injury Law and serve the community he calls home. Over the last 3 years, Clayton has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.
Cain is proud to stand up for hardworking, everyday people against insurance giants. “My clients are in a serious time of need,” he says. “They’re getting pushed around, and it’s our job to push back.”
