Courtney Parker Wilson joined the team at Tynes Law Firm, P.A. as an associate attorney in September 2016. She is now a Member specializing in medical malpractice and trucking. She leverages her experience in the judicial system to anticipate and resolve potential problems in the best interest of her clients.

Work Experience:
Ms. Wilson was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, and has lived in Jackson, Mississippi; Theodore, Alabama; Hattiesburg, Mississippi; and Boston, Massachusetts.
After graduating from law school in 2010, she returned to Mississippi, where she worked as a law clerk for Chancellors Deborah Gambrell and Eugene Love Fair, Jr. in the Tenth District Chancery Court, where the focus was primarily family law and estates.
In 2011, Judge Fair was appointed to the Mississippi Court of Appeals, and Ms. Wilson continued as his law clerk. In that capacity, she worked on appeals covering all areas of the law, from murder convictions and post-conviction relief to bad faith insurance litigation. In 2012 Ms. Wilson moved to Starkville, Mississippi, where she worked as a Guardian Ad Litem and a law clerk for Chancellor Kenneth Burns in the Fourteenth District Chancery Court.
In 2014, Ms. Wilson accepted a position as an associate attorney with Rushing & Guice, PLLC, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, with a practice focused on collections, family law, and litigation support. In 2016, she accepted a Staff Attorney position with Circuit Court Judge Clairborne ‘Buddy’ McDonald, IV, in the Fifteenth District Circuit Court. Ms. Wilson worked with Judge McDonald to develop new procedures to address the high volume of criminal cases in Pearl River County.
In September 2016, she came on board as an associate attorney at Tynes Law Firm, P.A. For the last eight years, Ms. Wilson has been an active litigator pursing wrongful death, medical malpractice, trucking, and school liability cases.
Ms. Wilson is admitted to practice in the state courts of Mississippi and Alabama, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, and the Fifth Circuit.
