Cristina García-Chappell is the founder and lead attorney of García Injury Law, a Texas personal injury law firm serving accident victims and families across Austin, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and Central Texas.
Licensed to practice law in both Texas and Mexico, Cristina brings more than 15 years of personal injury experience and a distinctive cross-border legal perspective to her representation of injured clients. Her practice focuses on serious injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, commercial trucking accidents, workplace injuries, construction accidents, dog bites, and wrongful death claims.
Before dedicating her career to personal injury law, Cristina served Mexican nationals through the Mexican Consulate in Austin and later worked in Mexico’s diplomatic corps as Chief of Staff to the Ambassador of Mexico in China and as Press Attaché during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Her background in law, diplomacy, and public service has shaped a practice defined by preparation, strategic advocacy, and clear communication with clients.
In 2025, Cristina founded García Injury Law, naming the firm in honor of her father, Guillermo García, whose legacy of service continues to guide her work. She is especially committed to serving the Hispanic community in Texas and ensuring that Spanish-speaking clients have access to trusted legal guidance after an accident.
Cristina currently serves as President of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association. She has also been recognized with the “Mexicana Distinguida en el Exterior” award from the Government of Mexico, Texas Top 100 Trial Lawyers, Top 50 Settlements, Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Top 10 Lawyers in Austin by My Austin Magazine, and Austin Woman “Change Makers” 2025.
