Daniel C. Scialpi joined Patrick Malone & Associates in 2010 after spending a year clerking for the Honorable Marielsa Bernard, Associate Judge of the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland. Prior to his clerkship, Mr. Scialpi graduated with honors from the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C.

As a clerk, Mr. Scialpi worked on hundreds of cases, gaining a wealth of experience in the law and also learning first-hand the characteristics of a good attorney: preparation, hard work, and a devotion to justice for one's client.
Mr. Scialpi saw many different types of cases as a clerk, from criminal matters to family and domestic disputes. However, the majority of the cases Mr. Scialpi worked on involved medical malpractice and personal injury claims. Those cases made a strong impression on Mr. Scialpi, who saw families torn apart, and individuals with their lives forever altered because of the negligence of others.
Upon finishing his clerkship, Mr. Scialpi was determined to become an advocate for those who had been the victims of negligence. He jumped at the opportunity to join Patrick Malone & Associates when he learned of their reputation for successfully representing clients throughout the Washington, D.C. area.
Mr. Scialpi began his legal career working as a student attorney in the Washington College of Law's Disability Rights Law Clinic, where he represented individuals in the Washington, D.C. area who had been discriminated against because of their disabilities. As a student attorney, Mr. Scialpi handled matters ranging from claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act to employment discrimination cases in federal court.
Mr. Scialpi grew up on Long Island, New York. He became a Washingtonian after attending the George Washington University, where he graduated with a BA in history and political science in 2006.
