Danielle Kushel has dedicated her legal career to zealously advocating for victims and seeking justice for others. Danielle grew up in Hollywood, Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Danielle graduated as a Thurgood Marshall Scholar from George Washington University School of Law. There, she discovered her passion for litigation and oral advocacy. She was a Board Member on the Mock Trial team and participated in the D.C. Law Students in Court Clinic, advocating for those who had been accused of federal crime violations.
Upon graduating law school in 2012, Danielle joined the 15th Circuit State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney, prosecuting those accused of committing crimes and representing victims of crimes. She handled a wide variety of cases ranging from minor offenses like misdemeanors, to serious drug trafficking offenses, firearm offenses, and homicides. She excelled at litigation, trying nearly 100 jury trials to verdict.
It takes tremendous compassion and empathy to forge bonds and trusting relationships with victims of any criminal offense. The experience of tenaciously fighting for victims of crime helps Danielle pursue justice for those injured by the negligence of another and ensure that they receive the compensation they deserve.
