SERIOUS INJURY & DEATH

MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

Every day, people are operating motor vehicles while distracted, impaired, or traveling at dangerous speeds. Right now, one person dies every 48 minutes in the United States in a drunk driving collision. Cell phones have become another major source of driver distraction and account for a tremendous amount of car wrecks each year.  If you have been seriously injured by a negligent driver or a loved one has been killed, contact us immediately.

18 WHEELER COLLISIONS

Big 18 Wheeler Tractor Trailer Rigs can be found in increasing numbers on every highway in the United States. These rigs are huge and can be deadly if the transportation companies put profits ahead of safety. Each year, 18 Wheelers account for huge numbers of highway deaths and other catastrophic injuries. Commercial trucking companies are required to follow strict federal rules to increase safety and drivers are required to have special training. Too often, trucks are not regularly inspected, driver sleep logs get falsified, and driver background checks get ignored in order to make a quicker profit. Add this to the other driving distractions we see with texting and intoxication and you can see why big rigs cause so much death and destruction.  If you have been seriously injured or a loved one has been killed in an 18 Wheeler collision, contact us immediately.

DANGEROUS PREMISES AND CONDITIONS

Too often, dangerous conditions exist that cause catastrophic injury or death. These conditions often arise in the workplace and frequently arise while doing every day acts such as grocery shopping. Falls, electrocutions, drownings, and amputations often occur due to facilities, businesses, and structures falling into disrepair. When a dangerous condition exists, the entity in control of the property has a legal duty to inspect for problems and either make them safe or warn you of them. Many times, no inspections, repairs, or warnings take place and people get badly hurt, maimed, or killed. Elevators, power lines, swimming pools, explosions, falling merchandise, open pits, slick grocery store floors, assembly lines, balconies, stairways, and railings are just a few of the type of every day things we come into contact with that can kill or severely injure should a problem exist that is unknown to the user.  If you have been seriously injured by a dangerous condition or a loved one has been killed, contact us immediately.
