Chevo Pastrano was born in Lockhart, Caldwell County, Texas. He grew up in Kyle, Hays County, Texas where he graduated from Jack C. Hays High School in 1994. After high school he was employed by the Hays County Sheriff's Department and worked his way through Southwest Texas State University (presently known as Texas State University-San Marcos), being awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1999. Chevo then attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.
While at South Texas, Chevo was a member of the South Texas Law Review and the national mock trial team in South Texas' renowned advocacy program. Chevo received several mock trial awards, including being named South Texas' best mock trial advocate. Chevo graduated from South Texas with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2002.
Since leaving South Texas, Chevo has become an experienced and exceptional trial lawyer trying over 50 cases to verdict with great success. He is proud and honored to be a trial lawyer. Chevo's work has been previously acknowledged by receiving Texas Super Lawyer-Rising Star (2012) recognition.
