Prior to joining Tobin & Bernardon, LLP, Elizabeth began her career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office in their Motions Bureau. She then went on to the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office where she practiced as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in their Special Victim’s Unit. There, she investigated and prosecuted felony sexual abuse and assault cases, domestic violence cases and child abuse cases. Her responsibilities included handling all matters before the Integrated Domestic Violence Court. This court is a specialized Supreme Court Part where victims of domestic violence and their families appear before one judge to resolve their criminal, family and matrimonial matters. Elizabeth then went on to private practice where she represented clients in areas of family and matrimonial law including divorce, custody and visitation, child support, alimony/maintenance, and post judgment matters.
Elizabeth has extensive courtroom litigation experience and specialized training including being certified by New York State in child forensic interviewing. She has always had a passion for arriving at a just result by utilizing understanding, creativity and zealous advocacy. She is also a member of the Westchester Women's Bar Association and a member of the National Association of Divorce Professionals in their NYC Midtown Chapter.
Elizabeth is also a prosecutor for the Village of Mamaroneck.
