Insurance Coverage Background
For more than a decade prior to focusing exclusively on plaintiff-side litigation, Mr. Strongin was retained by major domestic and international insurers to analyze coverage obligations and interpret policy language across commercial, residential, specialty, and contingency lines. That background — which spans automobile liability, commercial property, homeowners, fine art, and transportation insurance — gives him a structural advantage in personal injury cases where insurance defenses, coverage disputes, and bad faith issues arise.
Practice Areas
Mr. Strongin represents plaintiffs in matters involving automobile, motorcycle, trucking, and bicycle accidents; construction accidents; brain injury; burn injury; premises liability; wrongful death; defective and dangerous products; toxic mold and environmental exposure; toxic torts; chemical burns; dog bites; tenant rights and habitability; and elder abuse. He is particularly well known within the legal and medical communities for his work on toxic mold and environmental hazard cases, and other attorneys regularly consult with him before accepting such matters.
Education and Admissions
Mr. Strongin received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he served as a content editor for the San Diego International Law Journal and was appointed to the National Order of Barristers for excellence in courtroom advocacy. He received his B.A. from Brigham Young University, completing a four-year degree in two and a half years and graduating as a member of the Psi Sigma Alpha honor society. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts, including the California Supreme Court, all federal district courts within California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
