Erica is a partner on the mass torts team and her practice focuses on mass tort litigation, complex product liability cases and multi-district litigation. Erica graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana where she majored in English and minored in Secondary Education. After teaching high school in South Bend, Erica decided to attend law school at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado where she actively participated as a Competitor and Board Member in the Rothgerber Moot Court Competition. Erica was also the recipient of the William O. DeSouchet Award for Best Individual Performance in Trial Advocacy.
Following graduation from law school in 1999, Erica worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Edwin G. Ruland on the Colorado Court of Appeals where she gained valuable and unique insight into all aspects of the trial and appellate process. In 2001, Erica moved to Las Vegas to begin her career in private practice, and she has since spent her career fighting for the rights of both individual and corporate clients in Nevada.
Before coming to Eglet Adams, Erica spent three years as a litigation associate for the Las Vegas office of a prestigious Nevada law firm before starting her own law firm in 2004. She has represented clients in various state and federal courts, and has represented clients before the Nevada Gaming Commission, Clark County Board of Commissioners and the Las Vegas City Council. Erica continues to cultivate a diverse practice which also includes general business matters and appellate work.
In her spare time, Erica and enjoys reading, hiking, running and spending as much time as possible with her husband and two young sons.
Erica is licensed to practice law in Nevada and Colorado.
