Ethel Velasquez became a practicing attorney because she believes it is one of the best paths for living a life dedicated to helping others. Her legal journey began at Florida State University, where she triple majored in Political Science, International Affairs, and Marketing, with a concentration in Professional Sales. She then excelled during her time at St. Thomas University, booking the highest grade in Interviewing, Counseling, and Negotiations, making the Dean’s List, and becoming a member of the Stephen R. Booher American Inn of Court.
Mrs. Velasquez brings experience in both civil and criminal proceedings; having begun her career in immigration and criminal law. Now, she focuses on personal injury protection, worker’s compensation, and personal injury. She takes pride in knowing her work allows medical providers to focus on helping injured patients recover; while she focuses on maximizing justice, by negotiating with insurance companies.
Beyond legal expertise, as a child of immigrants, her parents instilled a strong work ethic at an early age; inspiring a mentality of gratefulness, kindness, and perseverance. She believes that civility should be at the forefront of the legal profession, and strives to have positive working relationships with clients and fellow attorneys.
Personally, Mrs. Velasquez is incredibly in love with her husband and their two children. The love and support of her family gave her the tenacity to follow her dreams, as she delivered her babies while in law school. They are her greatest achievement and source of happiness. To them, family is everything! In their free time, you can find them chasing each other around various playgrounds across Palm Beach County and trying local eateries. She also enjoys music, art, culture, and of course, catching a live show with her husband. All in all, Mrs. Velasquez loves being active, she loves her job, and she would love to help you!
