Frank Mangiaracina, a partner at Kline & Specter, is a proven trial lawyer who has resolved nearly 100 cases for at least $1 million. As lead or co-counsel, some of Mangiaracina's successes include:
Under Shanin Specter, Mangiaracina also led the firm's representation of dozens of people who developed cancer after being exposed to a chemical called ethylene oxide. This was a highly complicated toxic tort litigation that spanned years, involved numerous firm attorneys, and resulted in a confidential settlement agreement.
Mangiaracina's trial work has also resulted in significant changes to Pennsylvania law. In one of the first COVID-era trials, during the summer of 2021, Mangiaracina won a $2.1 million verdict against Domino’s Pizza for a client who suffered severe and permanent injuries to his leg when his motorcycle was struck by a delivery driver. Domino's appealed, claiming that, as the franchisor, it could not be responsible for the negligence of the franchisee's delivery driver. However, in January 2025, the Pennsylvania Superior Court issued a precedential opinion ruling that Domino's Pizza was responsible and clarifying when, under Pennsylvania law, franchisors may be liable for the actions of franchisees.
Because of his litigation success, Mangiaracina has been named a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers for seven consecutive years (2019-2025). The independent lawyers survey group recognizes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state who are 40 or younger.
