George E. Morton III was born in Galloway, New Jersey. He was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 2022. Mr. Morton graduated from the Salisbury University Honors College in 2018. While at Salisbury, he played on the football team, leading the team as Captain his senior season.
Mr. Morton graduated from Rutgers Law School, Newark, in 2022, where upon graduating he was awarded the Myron Harkavy award, which is awarded to the graduate showing the most promise as a trial lawyer.Â
While at Rutgers Law, Mr. Morton participated on the Mock Trial Team where he developed essential skills in trial advocacy, participated as a Staff Editor on the Rutgers Law Record and as a research assistant to Kelly J. Deere. Â
After Law School, Mr. Morton completed a Judicial Clerkship for the Honorable John D. O’Dwyer P.J.Cv. of Bergen County. Mr. Morton is a member of the Bergen County Bar association.
