Upon graduating from OU Law and passing the Oklahoma Bar Exam, Grant began his legal career as a personal injury lawyer with the same Oklahoma City law firm he interned with during law school. Sooner than originally planned, he moved back to Wichita Falls with his wife, Taryn, and their two children in 2015 so they could raise their kids closer to family in the area. Once back in Wichita Falls, Grant joined a local personal injury firm and took the Texas Bar Exam to be able to practice in both states.
Grant founded Hoover Rogers Law, LLP with his law partner Ben Hoover in 2021. Today, they continue to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma, and both thoroughly enjoy helping injured clients on a daily basis get through their insurance claims and the litigation process. They pride themselves on being trial-ready whenever necessary, and had 4 jury trials in their first year in business together. Ben and Grant also practice estate planning and enjoy going far beyond just a routine, cut-and-paste will for their clients, tailoring estate plans to each client's individual circumstances, and routinely drafting in-depth, thoughtful revocable living trusts when appropriate.
Grant's wife, Taryn, is a small business owner specializing in custom picture framing since 2016. They have three kids under the age of 11. Grant’s time outside of work revolves around his family, and include supporting his kids in whatever sports they're playing at the time, tackling DIY home improvement projects, and watching OU football games.
