Greg Hoag is the founder and managing partner of Gregory Hoag Law Firm. He was previously a partner and shareholder at one of the oldest and most respected injury law firms in St. Petersburg – Masterson & Hoag, P.A. It was during this time that Mr. Hoag was privileged to work alongside prominent trial lawyer Thomas Masterson for 18 years. Mr. Hoag developed a true passion for helping people who have suffered serious injuries or death through no fault of their own and remains committed to putting the client first. He concentrates his practice on representing victims in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and legal malpractice. He has handled a variety of serious injury cases, including those who have suffered a brain injury, spinal cord injury, quadriplegia, stroke, heart attack and wrongful death. Mr. Hoag has been recognized by his peers as a Florida Super Lawyer, Florida Rising Star, Up and Comer by Florida Legal Elite and as a Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association. He has been very active in local and state bar activities during his career, which has included serving as a chair of numerous committees and sections. Most notably, he served as President of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and St. Petersburg Bar Foundation. He served as Chairman of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee and as an elected representative of the Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar. Mr. Hoag has co-authored chapters in the Florida Medical Malpractice Handbook and Florida Civil Trial Practice Manual. He is also a member of the American Association of Justice, Florida Justice Association, Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, St. Petersburg Bar Association, Clearwater Bar Association and North Tampa Bar Association.
