Guilherme Vasconcelos began his legal career in his hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree followed by a Master of Laws with a focus on Constitutional Law. In Brazil, he gained experience in litigation and corporate law.
In 2016, he moved to the United States to earn an LLM – Master of Laws – from the University of Texas at Austin, School of Law. Passionate about helping people with their legal issues, he graduated with Pro Bono Honors for his extensive community service work.
Guilherme is licensed to practice law in both Brazil and Texas. Since 2018, he has demonstrated his dedication to professionalism by becoming a member of the honorary society of the Texas Bar College. He consistently advocates strongly for his clients.
Guilherme worked for six years at the prestigious DJC Law Firm in Austin, Texas. During his time there, he managed and litigated over 500 cases, securing more than $8 million in gross settlement agreements for his clients. Guilherme also gained experience managing other lawyers as a managing attorney at Ramos James Law Firm in Austin, Texas.Â
Guilherme is also an experienced trial attorney and has already secured two multimillion-dollar verdicts as the lead attorney. In 2024, he obtained a $4.5 million verdict in Travis County, and in 2025, he achieved a $1.3 million verdict in Dallas County. He is an alumnus of TACT—the Trial Advocacy College of Texas—where he learned from top trial lawyers in Texas. Additionally, he is a member of both the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the National Trial Lawyers—Top 40 Under 40.
