Ian has a busy trial and appeal practice in the state and federal courts focusing on the area of criminal defense. He has tried jury trials in both the state and federal courts and has briefed and argued cases in both the Minnesota Supreme Court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He represents clients in all courts at phases of the case from investigation on. When not looking for an edge for the clients he represents, Ian pursues his other passion – tournament level cards – and travels the World playing in poker and card tournaments which he occasionally wins. He recently competed in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas where he had a good run.
Ian is an honors graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School where he was awarded a Robina Scholarship all three years of law school. He is a lifelong Minnesotan who gets up every day looking for his next challenge.
