Ismael Tijerino has been licensed to practice law in the state of Florida since 2018, and since 2019 he has dedicated 100% of his litigation practice to representing workers’ compensation claimants throughout the state of Florida.
Ismael has handled cases dealing with all kinds of injuries and complex issues. He has handled cases from inception to settlement and is familiar with all aspects of the litigation process.
Ismael received his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University, and his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, now renamed to Benjamin L. Crump College of Law. Prior to practicing workers’ compensation law, Ismael was defending plaintiff’s against their homeowner’s insurance company, as well as, representing spouses in family law proceedings.
He is a member of the Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Section, Florida Workers’ Advocates, the Richard A. Sicking American Inn of Courts, and Young Lawyer’s Section of the Florida Bar. Ismael is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Ismael is a dedicated advocate of the working class and is never satisfied until his clients are given everything they deserve under the law. As a first-generation college graduate, and child of immigrant parents Ismael knows what it is like to be the underdog, and is here to ensure his client’s never feel like the underdog in the litigation process.
