Jacob H. Katz is a senior associate at The Law Offices of Kerry L. Armstrong, APLC. Most recently, Jacob was nominated and accepted as a Lawyer of Distinction for 2023.
Jacob’s passion for criminal law is reflected in his legal background. Jacob was published twice in the Jury Trial Committee Improvement Newsletter for his articles “Dealing with Daubert: Finding the Right Balance” and “Judicial Problems: Answering Jurors Questions”.
While in law school, Jacob was a certified legal intern for the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office for four semesters. Jacob excelled in his criminal law and trial courses becoming a member of University of San Diego’s Mock Trial Team.
Jacob’s dedication to the law is further demonstrated by his work in U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, working as a judicial extern for the Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia.
