Upon graduating from NCSU with double majors in Economics and Agricultural Business, Jay worked for Nationwide as a claims adjuster. Jay then attended Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. After passing the North Carolina Bar, Jay clerked for Chief Justice I. Beverly Lake before entering private practice at Yates, McLamb and Weyer. Jay joined Elizabeth in 2004. Jay enjoys spending time with his four children.
