Jared Perkins was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Foy H. Moody High School, and graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M Corpus Christi with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He earned his law degree from St. Mary’s University, and during his time in law school he studied abroad at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. While pursuing his law degree, he participated extensively in the St. Mary’s School of Law’s External Mock Trial Advocacy Program. With his team, he won numerous awards including Most Professional at the William Daniel National Invitational Mock Trial Competition in Atlanta, Georgia, and Champion of the St. Mary’s University Larry G. Hyden Mock Trial Competition.
Practice
After graduating from law school, Jared worked for his father, Eric Perkins, as an associate attorney in his law firm. In December 2019, Jared and Eric formed Perkins & Perkins, Trial Lawyers. Based out of Corpus Christi, Texas, their practice focuses on representing clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases, and those that have been wrongfully accused.
Jared believes everybody is entitled to justice and aggressively pursues it. Throughout his legal experience, he has litigated everything from multi-million dollar wrongful death cases to capital murder cases. More importantly, he wins cases. No matter the difficulty, he fights for what he believes is right and is not afraid to take your case to trial. Through successful jury verdicts and favorable settlement agreements, Jared has secured both significant compensation and the freedom his clients deserve.

He was also selected as a Top 40 under 40 Trial Lawyer, in Texas, by the National Trial Lawyers Association. This honor is given to only the top 40 under 40 attorneys for their superior qualifications, trial results, and leadership as young criminal defense and civil plaintiff lawyers.
