Jason E. Taylor brings decades of real courtroom experience to every case he handles. His approach is grounded in preparation, transparency, and a deep understanding of how devastating an injury can be—not just physically, but emotionally and financially.
Raised on a farm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Jason grew up immersed in the outdoors—hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and riding motorcycles. As kids, we received a quarter a week allowance. 1 dollar a month, so we worked on the farm in the summer and trapped muskrats and racoon and sold the pelts in the winter to make money. Those early experiences shaped both his work ethic and his connection to the clients he now represents, especially fellow riders. He understands firsthand the realities of being on the road, the risks involved, and the life-altering consequences of negligence.
Jason attended Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut, where he excelled academically and athletically, playing lacrosse and football. He went on to Hobart College in Geneva, New York, completing a four-year degree in just three years. Before law school, he worked in construction and roofing—hands-on work that reinforced his respect for people who earn their living through physical labor.
He earned his law degree with honors from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Jason began practicing law in Charlotte in 1993 and later co-founded a firm in 1995. In 2005, he established The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor, which is now Taylor | Serbin Injury Lawyers, building a practice rooted in trial readiness, ethical advocacy, and long-term client trust.
Jason is widely respected for his ability to cut through noise, confront powerful insurance companies, and fight aggressively for what is right. He prepares every file as if it will be tried before a jury—because that preparation is what protects clients and drives meaningful results.
Jason is married to Andie Taylor and is a devoted parent and grandparent. They live on Black Sheep Farm, where life includes dogs, sheep, chickens, bees and a donkey. Outside the office, Jason values family time, reading, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
