With over 23 years of prosecutorial experience, I bring a unique insight into the criminal justice system, specializing in legal consulting, criminal defense, and tailored advice for each individual client.
I have been practicing law in Georgia for a quarter of a century. After spending the first year and a half of my legal career in civil practice, I started my prosecutorial career with the Hall County Solicitor’s Office in 2001. I was the head domestic violence prosecutor and also prosecuted DUI’s, BUI’s, Vehicular Homicides, traffic citations, and all other types of misdemeanors. In 2005, I was promoted to Chief Assistant Solicitor. I also participated in Hall County’s DUI Court.
In 2009, I was hired by the Forsyth County District Attorney as an Assistant District Attorney. I successfully prosecuted all manners of felonies from simple drug possession to murder. I specialized in trying crimes against children, domestic violence and other serious violent felonies. I have trained both law enforcement and other attorneys. I was also a member of CARE Court, Forsyth County’s Mental Health Court.
