Jessica Frankel decided to pursue a career in law at a young age, with her elementary school yearbook even reflecting her desire to become an attorney. She completed her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University in 2017, graduating cum laude. Jessica continued her legal education at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she earned her J.D. in May 2021. During her time in law school, Jessica achieved Dean’s List honors, was recognized as a Pro Bono Honors Scholar, and received CALI awards in advanced legal research and finance and the markets.
Jessica was drawn to personal injury and medical malpractice law because she believed it would allow her to make a significant difference in people’s lives. Her interest in the science of the human body and the long-term effects of catastrophic injuries further solidified her decision to focus on this area of law.
Jessica joined Harris, Keenan & Goldfarb in July 2024. In her prior role, she achieved notable success, winning approximately 70% of the summary judgment motions she handled. She looks forward to continuing her career at HKG and hopes to take a case to verdict within the next year.
Outside of her legal work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her 120-pound Newfoundland puppy, Winnie. She also loves traveling, spending time with her family, and discovering new restaurants in New York City.
