
Jill Roth is an Associate in Stark & Stark’s Accident and Personal Injury Group
where she represents plaintiffs in personal injury litigation matters in the firm’s
Accident & Personal Injury and Construction Injury Groups. She is dedicated to
fighting for justice for victims who have experienced abuse, assault, and
catastrophic injuries.
Jill finds creative approaches for tackling novel legal issues impacting crime victims, abuse survivors,
and other personal injury clients, and is an established leader in the field achieved through traumainformed
client management, nation-wide networking, and extensive courtroom experience. Jill has
been featured on USA Today, Newsweek, and NBC 10 Philadelphia for her work seeking justice and
protections for survivors of abuse. She has guest lectured at University of Pennsylvania Carey School of
Law, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and Columbia University on topics involving sexuality, sexual
abuse, and the law. In 2025, Jill presented to the Pennsylvania Association for Justice on ‘Real-life
Applications for AI for Personal Injury Attorneys’ and to the Bucks County Bar Association on
‘Supporting Survivors Seeking Justice: Key Considerations for Litigating Sexual Abuse Claims.’
Prior to joining Stark & Stark, Jill was a practicing attorney in Philadelphia, PA, where she advocated for
clients in personal injury lawsuits against individual, corporate and institutional defendants. She also
served as the Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where she
prosecuted violent felony cases in the Juries Unit of the Major Felony Trials Division.
With a strong background in mental health, Jill holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of
Pennsylvania and previously worked for the Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center as a Behavioral
Health Liaison. In that role, she assessed and coordinated mental health care for U.S. veterans suffering
from depression, anxiety, addiction, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
A graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, Jill was a two-time Barrister’s Award
Winner, twice recognized for Outstanding Oral Advocacy, and the 2018 TASA Prize for Excellence in
Evidence recipient.
Jill is a proud member of Pennsylvania Association for Justice, where she serves as Vice Chair of PAJ’s
Section on Behalf of Survivors of Abuse and on the Board of Governors for the Future Leaders Section.
Jill is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the National Crime Victim Bar Association,
the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Bucks County Bar Association,
Montgomery Bar Association, Florida Trial Lawyers, and National Trial Lawyers.
