
John Freeman is “All Crime, All the Time.” He successfully handles criminal cases and related administrative matters. He is not a general practice attorney. He does not attempt to juggle multiple areas of the law. He draws on more than 33 years of experience in criminal law to effectively defend clients’ rights and freedoms in state and federal courts. His clients are individuals and corporate entities that are under investigation and/or formally charged with all types of state and federal crimes. For more than 30 years, Mr. Freeman has built upon his award-winning academic performance and work experience to become a strategic, aggressive, successful, and hard-charging advocate with exceptional investigative, interviewing, negotiating, communication, and trial skills.
Before becoming a defense attorney, Mr. Freeman spent seven years as a federal prosecutor (AUSA) in Detroit and has handled all aspects of the investigation, prosecution, trial, sentencing, and appeal of federal criminal offenses. Before working as a federal prosecutor, Mr. Freeman served for seven years as a local prosecutor in the New York County District Attorney's Office in Manhattan.
