John T. Kirtley, III is the trial attorney for Ferrer, Poirot & Wansbrough and has practiced law since 1988. He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Since 1988, Mr. Kirtley has litigated thousands of cases involving automobile and trucking collisions, premises defects, wrongful death, construction accidents, dangerous products and prescription drugs, injured seamen and longshoremen, insurance claims, workers' compensation, employment-related claims, consumer and commercial transactions, sexual abuse, legal malpractice, medical malpractice and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Mr. Kirtley is licensed to practice in Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin; the United States Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern District Courts of Texas; the United States Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas; the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court. As a native Houstonian, Mr. Kirtley graduated with honors from the University of Houston.
