John Kitchin is a reputable trial attorney, and brings more than 25 years of legal experience to Kansas City. Over the years, he’s been a part of over 25 jury trials, along with several hundred bench trials and hearings.
John was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Texas Christian University, Ft. Worth, Texas, and graduated with a BBA in Finance. He then went on to St. Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri where he earned his JD in law.
Before starting Kitchin Law Firm, John gained more experience outside of being an attorney. He served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Lawyer, and was honorably discharged as a Captain.
After the Marines, he held the position as Assistant District Defender in Johnson County, KS. As Assistant District Defender, he handled over 550 felony criminal cases. He was then given the opportunity as managing attorney for one of the largest traffic law firms in the state of MO.
