I was born and raised on California’s Central Coast, and I’m grateful to call it home again with my family. My path to becoming a lawyer wasn’t a straight one. In high school, I worked at a law firm and decided law wasn’t for me. I planned to become a doctor instead—until college changed that.
While studying neurobiology at UC Davis, I lost my student housing and took a summer job with a trial lawyer. What started as a short-term job turned into a career. I saw how much difference a lawyer can make for someone who’s been hurt or treated unfairly, and that stuck with me.
After law school, I worked at a respected employment defense firm but quickly realized I was on the wrong side. I didn’t want to defend corporations—I wanted to help the people they hurt. So I left, started my own firm in San Diego, and began representing whistleblowers and injury victims. Over time, I built a reputation for standing up to big defense firms, but what mattered most was helping clients move forward after something life-changing.
When our daughter was born, the pandemic reminded us how important family and home really are. We moved back to the Central Coast where I continue to represent folks who have been injured or lost loved ones in motorcycle crashes, bicycle accidents, and paid the price for blowing the whistle on illegal activity.
Whether you've been injured on the road, or retaliated against at work, I'm here to help you stand up, get answers, and get justice.
