John was one of the earliest supporters of Washington’s I-502, which made Washington one of the first states in the country to legalize cannabis recreationally for adult use. Since then, John has actively supported clients in the rapidly growing legal cannabis industry, advising on the interplay between state, tribal, and federal law; regulatory concerns; and related matters.
A former U.S. attorney in Seattle, John is a seasoned trial lawyer with deep roots in the legal community and a well-earned reputation for fairness and integrity.
