John Sheehan was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. The son of an Irish immigrant from County Kerry, Ireland and raised in a working-class family, Attorney Sheehan has a deep appreciation, pride and respect for the American Dream.
Attorney Sheehan is fluent in Spanish and is privileged to represent many clients from the Latin American community in the Greater Boston area and throughout Massachusetts.
Attorney Sheehan has focused his law practice helping working people who have been hurt on the job and accident victims who have been injured due to someone else’s negligence. Attorney Sheehan has been successful securing workers’ compensation benefits and settlements for his clients. Attorney Sheehan graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 1993 and was admitted to the Massachusetts state bar in December 1993. Attorney Sheehan worked as an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Sherwin L. Kantrovitz, Rainer & Rainer and Shapiro & Associates. From 1999 through 2006, Attorney Sheehan represented injured workers and accident victims as a founding partner of Georgiou & Sheehan. In 2007, Attorney Sheehan founded the Law Office of John J. Sheehan where he continues to fight for just and fair compensation for injured workers and accident victims.
Attorney Sheehan has received an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest Peer Review Rating offered. Attorney Sheehan is admitted to the Massachusetts state bar, U.S. District Court (Massachusetts) and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Sheehan is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA).
