Before embarking on his legal career, Attorney John Anthony Ward served in the United States Marine Corp from 1976 until 1979 and earned the rank of corporal. He then obtained his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1985, graduating in the top ten percent of his class.
Attorney Ward has tried more than 200 cases in State and Federal court throughout southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. His first jury trial resulted in a not guilty verdict. His first homicide trial was also a not guilty verdict. His first felony trial ended up with a hung jury.
