Joseph McAfee has been licensed to practice law in the State of TN since October 2010. He has experience in criminal defense and commercial litigation involving construction disputes, estate planning and general civil litigation. He founded McAfee & McAfee, PLLC in 2013 with his wife, Jessica McAfee.
Mr. McAfee is licensed in all state courts across Tennessee as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee.  Over the years, Mr. McAfee has represented clients in many appeals in before the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Court of Criminal Appeals and Supreme Court in addition to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Mr. McAfee has served as board member and is former president of the Northeast Tennessee Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Other associations with home Mr. McAfee has served include the Tennessee Bar Association, Greene County Bar Association, Knox County Bar Association, and the Washington County Bar Association.
He teaches continuing education seminars from time to time on how to successfully start your own law practice and Criminal Practice in Federal Court. Â Mr. McAfee is a zealous advocate and enjoys intense adversarial litigation. He is very diligent and works tirelessly for his clients, sometimes scheduling after hours appointments and weekend appointments.
