Joshua is a native Texan who grew up in the Austin hill country, and is an ardent fan of the Baylor Bears and Houston Rockets. He enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, and attempting to garden. He is also an amateur guitar player and art collector.
Before joining the Lanier Law Firm, Joshua worked as an associate at a highly respected Houston firm where he specialized in construction law representing commercial contractors and homeowners. He also clerked at the Lanier Law Firm as a law student in the summer of 2020.
Joshua holds a law degree from Pepperdine Law School where he served as an executive board member and competitor for the law school’s interscholastic moot court and trial teams. Joshua’s team won Pepperdine’s Vincent S. Dalsimer moot court competition, and he was individually named the most outstanding advocate. He was twice named to the Order of the Barristers for his numerous awards at national trial and appellate advocacy competitions.
Joshua also graduated as a distinguished honors scholar from Baylor University where he studied Political Science and Economics. He served as an executive board member and team captain for the Baylor Undergraduate Mock Trial Team, and received the American Mock Trial Association’s All-American Attorney Award in 2017.
